How do you use colored text in game? I've tried hex and html, but neither work

    Get the Legend title, get the creator title, or get the mythic title if you want colored text in chat.

    I see people without any of those that have the colored text. I was aware of that feature for the titles, but I thought that there was another way as well.

    I've always wondered btw, can players that have several of those badges easily switch between which one appears?

    No. Creator trumps legend and mythic trumps creator. Once you have it, you can never go back.

    Getting the legend title let's you change the color of your text? I never knew that. Now I need to get it.

    For Chat-Pane messages in game ??

    I know about doing it for your Alliance Profile Information, as well as Alliance Name (not tag).
    Square brackets with 6 place RGB Hex Code in it, or other formatting like B for bold in square brackets, ending with backslash B in brackets at end of bold text.

    But not sure if that way would also work for Chat Panes or not.

    I would say that even if it was useable, it would be both frowned upon and rather unpractical.
    And pretending to be a certain status by having colored text when you aren’t, or otherwise being annoying by doing that in Global Chat, might result in bunch of “Reporting” and potential Chat ban (?)

    And unpractical, because those messages disappear quite soon in global, and you’re gonna take the time to do copy-paste or other unnecessary typing for temporary chat lines ?
    (in Alliance Chat, maybe, as a better way for Leadership to highlight something up there)
