Losing Prefights in Incursions

Using iPhone 15 iOS 17.3.1 mcoc version 43.01
When a game crashes in Incursions either pre-loading into a fight, during a fight, or after winning a fight, I'll return to see my champ with 50% of my health missing and all the prefights gone.
My team was Hercules, galan and heimdall. I lose all the odin prefights and the galan prefight on Hercules.
The 50% loss is discouraging but losing the prefights means quitting the run.
