Diablo bugged vs Maestro?

In battle grounds, Diablo frequently does not trigger philosophers mix after using his special vs Maestro. The passive timer doesn’t show up. My understanding is that only basic attacks glance vs Maestro, and specials do not.l glance. So this seems like a bug.

But also my confidence in understanding this game is at an all time low despite playing it for over 7 years. Feeling deflated from the WoW and new Carina CCP combined with **** 7* pulls and bugs wasting my time instead of being fun.

    Yup, happens on everyone. I had a match where my titania didn’t apply a single debuff on her sp3 because I launched it after a hit.

    My question is why are you using diablo against maestro? Maestro is poison immune, and diablo deals a ton of damage through poison. Seems like a bad matchup.

    It’s all about the timing of when you throw your special. If you activate it during the same frame of your basic attack that glances, then your special attack will also “glance”. There was an unintended effect a while ago with Nick Fury where if you activated his sp3 in the same frame of his 4th light attack, the sp3 bleed would deal increased damage, matching that of the light attack. It’s pretty much the same thing as this glancing bug

    Reminder—this occurred in battlegrounds where randomness narrows down who you can choose. Diablo obliviously isn’t in my top tier of choices
