Defenders in Alliance War

Good morning. Debate in my alliance: should we place our defenders in alliance war in the 3 maps, in other words at each level of difficulty, or should we choose only one? All normal level for example. THANKS.

Oh pinaize, the debate rages on. For me it doesn't seem logical to place your defense in 3 places, I think it is better to concentrate on a single level of difficulty, than a single card. I can't see the war officer doing the replacements 3 times per group, that's 9 times out of 3 groups. Should we place our defenders only in a single map, a single difficulty level?

Place them in all 3. If you move up or down certain amount of tiers the map changes.

When it changes, it's gonna have no defenders if you don't place defenders in said map.

If you DON'T place defenders in the other “Potential +/- Tier” maps, and then if/when you either move up/down to next Tier (or even just get matched against a close enough opponent that is just across that Tier boundary).

Then your Defense Map WILL BE EMPTY (NO DEFENDERS), and opponent can just walk to Boss node and beat you.

So, the reason for the +/- “potential” Tier Placement, is that you would already have a Defense in place, ready to go, for times when you are in the next +/- Tier of Map.

And also then, if you do move up/down, you should then go back in again and put more defenders in what NOW would be your next higher Tier again (so the 2nd higher tier from where you currently started out at). Just in case you move up again another time.

**and, because the Nodes/Boosts can be different between the different Difficulty Tiers Maps, people may want different defenders in place, or on different nodes, from a different Tier Map. Or you can just put your same defenders in, if you want.
