AW pre-fight ability + undo step/turn?

Hello everyone,
does anybody know if it's possible in AW to move to an opponent/node, use your pre-fight ability and then undo your step/turn?
Don't know if using pre-fight counts as an action taken so undo option gets deactivated.
Guess it's something I've never considered doing so far 😅
Maybe going to try come AW offseason in case nobody can tell for sure.
