Nebula's WoW Gimme Shelter not working properly

So, Im going to use Silver Surfer, but the buffs are not getting counted properly;

The node says "For each buff" which means that, the 9 shocks I had with Silver Surfer should count as 9 buffs, due to his passive, those are buffs for him; so Nebula shouldnt be blocking my hits, but she still does, at least for what the node states, this shouldnt be intended.

Im missing something?

Shocks count as buffs for surfer’s abilities, not for nodes and the opponent’s abilities.
