I'm an atheist... I've got no dog in this fight, but the "crack the greater primordial piggy bank" message in game has a picture of a pig in a burka... I'm just questioning the optics. Anyone else pick up on this?

I'm in NYC, and let's just say relations and civility between Muslims/Palestinians, Israelis and everyone in between is far worse than what you see on the news. If some irresponsible news outlet were to run a story about the possible motives behind this oversight by a company backed by...
Welp let's leave it at that.
@klobberintyme said, this may become more complicated.
I understand your concerns are right, but You could've contacted support personally and let them know about your concerns.
If you manage to interpret this as a burqa, and not as a piggy version of Dust, please delete the app, your mcoc account, and don't leave your house.
So yes, it's a Piggy version of Dust, wearing a niqab. Making it that the piggy is wearing a niqab
Dust is a Muslim character. Muslim religion and culture have a specific viewpoint of pigs. Most importantly here, "Dust" is Marvel IP and thus Disney IP. "Disney game runs with insensitive Muslim image" is a headline Bobby Iger & co. could do without.
This easily could have been avoided is the main point.
Also, my portfolio contains 10 shares of Disney stock, so there's my transparency in this issue.
Op started the thread with “I’m an atheist”.
Goes on to point out (rather tenuously imo) something that might be offensive to those of a particular religion.
It’s hardly meant to be a Muslim dressed up as a pig. If that was the case, fair enough, complain away… but jeez, talk about overly sensitive. It’s obviously meant to represent an in game character.
People looking for offence everywhere these days.
Pathetic.
Edit: oh man that was 2022. Time flies
