To those that have done this quest already, given that we have certain champions we must use, what is the most ideal path?

    I did the Rage path (first defender is King Groot). There's no real problem fights along the way.

    I did the Luke cage path. Nothing to worry about with ronin and cbones and the prefight + crossbones makes ultron a breeze

    I did path B with the stun immune Colossus with bane. It isn't that scary cuz u don't take much dmg by tanking his basic attacks. I only used a r5 ascended crossbones for everything.

    I took the Resilience path, and used Ronin and Wags for everything.

    Don't forget to use Wags's prefight on Ultron!

    Take spidey path. Rank up only Crossbones and White Mags.

    I took spideys path in the end. Crossbones pretty much solos most of that path.

    But it sounds like multiple paths are good choices.
