Autofight forcing choice node, can't look at boss nodes

Not a bug per se, but an interaction that can have adverse effects on the player experience. When you are using autofight and get to a choice node, it forces you into the choice node menu. If you press the x to close the menu, it will reopen the menu in a second, you are stuck in that menu, you can't turn off autofight, you can't look at nodes. This is an issue if you want to plan the replacement, you can't look at the boss nodes. I ended up looking up a guide to figure out my pick, because I couldn't see the nodes.
Currently, once you activate a choice node and are in the character select, there's no way to look at nodes/anything to plan the team, so you can end up completely stranded with no idea who would be advantageous to swap in. You have to have the foresight to plan it out before you activate the choice node. I find this to be a fairly bad system, being unable to make an informed choice on who to swap in your team. If you have autofight turned on when you encounter the choice node, you don't have the opportunity to go "wait, let me check the nodes", you are forced into either skipping the choice node or going into the choice node completely blind.
The optimal fix would be to have some way to look at the map from within the choice node so that you can't get stranded without being able to look at nodes, either having been forced into the character select by autofight or from activating the choice node without having done the planning by accident.
Also, as I imagine you're well aware, but including it anyway, my choice nodes have been really weird, I replace a champ and say done, it doesn't take, and then I exit clicking the dialog box that I'm not going to use the choice node, and it turns out the replacement worked.

This happened to me just now for the first time, I haven't tested to see if it always happens, but it seems to be intrinsic to the way autofight works.
