Mojo Saga Boost Question that's probably been answered but I can't find it

I couldn't find this anywhere, so sorry if it's already been brought up.
Mojo is getting the saga boosts from x-magica tag for event quest, and grandmaster gauntlet (obviously a special quest).
But he is NOT getting the boost in EoP- grief incarnate. I would assume that if he's getting it on one special event quest, that he'd get it in all of them. It looks like you get it in Shooting Stars quest too but no other special quests.
