Future Antman?

Hi Forum.

For the purpose of balancing out my roster, I would like to take another Tech Champ to R4 ascended. Ideally a champ that is not available as a 7*.

I already have Nimrod and Ghost ranked and am now considering Future Antman.

Question: What is he used for? In know that I hate him on defense, so that‘s a plus.

On offense I know that his rotation does massive direct damage on SP2 and that he is flexible in choosing specials. But in BG he may be handicapped because he places some debuffs and triggers willpower…

So: What makes Fantman special and where does he shine the most?

He can be used very easliy with the rotation you gave. He is used for almost any quest really, ideally for those that grant extra damage or extra special att damage. For bgs, he can be used offensively, but is usually placed on def because of his glancing and burst damage. Mine is r4 ascended max sig and i love him a lot. Very fun to play with too

Is there maybe another option I‘m overlooking? Who out of the following would be a good choice to r4 and ascend?

I‘m looking for someone who is not in the basic or titan 7* pool… Dual purpose in BG would be nice…

He is extremely good attacker in bg, even better than nimrod.
Sp2 combined with basic attack damage kills the opponent, or you can use sunspot rotation (one sp1 + one sp2). He kills opponents in 45 seconds.

But you shouldn't be concerned about him in bgs, cuz, you won't get him on draft anyways.
I played around 20 matches this season, and my r5A FAM was banned by opponent in every match, every single except one, cuz opponent had a FAM that match too.

Even if you draft FAM you probably use him on defense anyways.

The biggest plus about FAM is, whenever I'm questing and AI is Frustrating, I'll just stop blocking and take a 5 hit combo on the face, which'll stun the opponent and I take negligible damage. There are very few champs in the game who can tank a lot of attacks on offense.

Future Antman is really awesome... I always take path6 in war & can't imagine my aw attack without him, he is so versatile. I have my at r4 assended & he one of my most used champ

Fant has solid damage. extremely tanky. And most of all, he can control the fight really well with the power drain and disintergration. IMO, he shines the most in BG mode, both on offense and defense. Don't worry too much about willpower in BGs, as an attacker his sp2 damage will make sure the healing the opponent has is their last meal, and as a defender, f that debuff, the combat power rate reduction is absurd
