Don't sleep on Spidey Supreme

After I was done with the objectives for the current round of WoW, I decided to try out some non-objective attackers against Hulkling. The one it undoubtably went best with was Spidey Supreme. I've always had a soft spot for him and if it wasn't for me shifting a lot of my focus to 7*s lately, I'd probably taken my 6* up to r5 and ascended him. I'll probably still will...at some point. But it doesn't matter! Because against the champions he's supposed to fight, he's still relentless even at r4.
Some of the things that makes him so good in this fight (and many others): he can copy (certain) buffs off the defender, most notably in this fight being the regen. You can see how he immediately loses over 30% health with a single blocked hit but ultimately still finishes the fight with a full yellow bar. That is despite taking even more blocked hits as well as some clean ones. (Does that mean that I could have played this fight better? No, I was only taking damage FOR SCIENCE.)
He also has an additional safety net with his miss mechanic that activates on either champion's first medium attack (or when the opponent gains either an unstoppable or unblockable buff). After a miss is triggered, it has a cooldown of between 20 and 10 seconds before it can be activated again, depending on how many unique buffs the defender has. However, unblockable attacks ignore this cooldown.
You can see this saving my bacon at 0:22 in the video.
One of the things that makes Spidey Supreme so good for this fight in particular is that he doesn't lose out on anything by launching his SP2 into block. Everything it does, it can do through block. As such, you not only benefit from the nodes that build up your block penetration etc, but you also deal all of the normal bursts of energy damage alongside it.

As a little bonus showcase, I have a Battlegrounds fight with a 7* Gorr. This was from two seasons ago, I think, with Polka Dot Power and Power Shield. Now, Spidey Supreme doesn't deal any DOT and he doesn't gain any power from the Mystic Dispersion mastery, so it would seem like he would be a pretty bad choice, right? Well, actually...no. He was a great choice. The reason is that he gains a very potent power gain whenever he enters Blessings of the Spider Totem, giving him 25% of Max Power every 9 seconds. As such, he was able to close the fight quite fast despite the nodes seemingly being stacked against him.
Also, please note that Spidey Supreme basically don't have to care about blocking Gorr's attacks since he steals so much regen that it doesn't matter. The funny thing is that each of SS's hits only refreshes Gorr's single regen, but each refresh gives SS a new regen buff.
I love Spidey Supreme.

(Just for funsies, a bonus-bonus showcase against Gladiator. Hopefully nothing in his buff changes how well Spidey dominates him.)
