Is 1000 6* shards for 50 units worth it ?

It depends on your progression and how highly you personally value 6* shards. For me I have almost all 6 stars in the game and for the most part opening them doesn't matter that much aside from iso and 7* shards. But for you, you might not have alot and might be hunting for a certain champ

If abs-man is your top champ then maybe yes. But if you do story quest and battlegrounds when you unlock it you'll be able to get 6* more frequently and then better use your units for masteries
