Titan Crystals system feels like it does not make sense at all

Titan System is well designed, but it takes into account a scene where we have constant sources of 7* Shards, enough to open as many 7* Crystals as we used to have for 6* (before we got tons of 'em weekly).

I think this is the case with 2 things in mind:

1. The amount of Titan shards we receive is not even enough to get 1 Titan Crystal monthly unless we get shards by big deals we have X times a year or because of a Special Event.
2. The amount of champions in the Crystal is too big for the amount of times we open a single Crystal, even with a pool of 6 champs like we have on other special 7* Crystals, we would still get to have maybe 2 tries for every pool change, which would means 2 champs out of the 6 champions pool, if we dont get him dupped.

So, why have that many champions in the pool? Doesnt make sense at all with the amount of tries we can afford.

So personally I think we should either get double the shards for 7* Dupes (I dont think this would be the best solution rn); or reduce the amount of champions on the Titan Pool, 6 champs less at least.

    That is explicitly by design.

The problem with the old school 5* featured crystal - the one where the featured champ popped out one time in five - was that people would just save up a ton of shards and then essentially guarantee getting the featured champ right at day one. The crystal was designed at a time when shards were hard to get, but as shards became plentiful players used the ability to save up unlimited shards to turn the random featured crystal into essentially a guaranteed featured champ crystal. This was not the intent of the crystal. The crystal was intended to give players a random chance at champions, not a guaranteed shot at them. Giving players a guaranteed chance at them eliminated a monetization opportunity and completely eliminated one of the primary purposes of new champions - to be chase items. Most higher tier players didn't need to chase them at all.

The crystal was replaced with the 24 slot crystal in part to address that. Which worked for a while, but eventually shard acceleration made even that crystal far more certain of a champion source than intended. The ultimate problem is that you cannot offer players more shards to help them fill out roster, without simultaneously offering them the ability to completely overpower the design of the featured crystal. You want to give people a lot of shots at basics, but not a lot of shots at featureds. So to break this problem once and for all, the devs eliminated the featured crystal for 7* champs and replaced it with the Titan crystal system.

The whole *point* is to allow players to get a reasonable number of shots at 7* basics without giving them a lot of shots at the Titan. What you're seeing, where (most) players only get a few shots at the Titan as the champs rotate in and out, is deliberate. It only doesn't make sense if you think the whole point of the crystal is to allow you to get everything you want. It isn't. It is to give you a couple of shots at it early on, before dropping into the basic pool where you will have to hunt them down with basics.
