Who is Your Preferred Champ Designer, and Why?

I am curious as to the communities opinions on champions. What level is good, and how strong should any champ be outside of their respective area? Please explain why you chose the champs/designer.

I've got 3/5 DLL champs at r5 ascended. Kate is next in line for r5 ascended (currently r4) and the jury is still out on serpant (I don't have him).

DLL champs hit all the sweet spots of what I like. Very much a personal preferance kinda thing. In general: Tanky/good block prof, good dmg, good range of utility, immunities, aggressive playstyle; with abilities, rotation, vibe, etc that I like (this I can't describe lol).

Side Note: Does anyone know who designed Elsa? What other champs have they designed?

Love both of them, their designs are unique in their own way DLL champs stand out a lot in their classes simply cuz they're that unique even if they might not necessarily be the best in them(arguable), while brocolli made champs that shattered their class rankings when they came out although they might not have something necessarily unique

It is two different eras. DLL seems to have carte Blanche while broccoli was handcuffed and had champs nerfed to the ground days before the champs went live.

You gotta respect Broccoli. He designed some of the most OP, game-breaking, wildly unbalanced champions in the game, the inclusion of which the game has never truly recovered from, and then went, "Peace out!", and let the rest of Kabam deal with the fallout.

In some ways it doesn't matter - champions aren't developed in isolation. Look at Ebony Maw - from what's been said before, his original kit had to be nerfed before release and has had multiple tweaks since then. We also have the rebalancing scheme now which for the most part has been really successful, I think.

I'll say whichever designer didn't think that giving the buffed DDHK a 40% Regen Rate was a good idea, does that count?

Whoever designed Vox has my vote. Though I’m pretty sure Broccoli designed Mister Negative as well so half my vote goes to him.

I actually do not know who designed Sersi. However, Honeydew designed Cassie who is a fun little gremlin to use, and a few others that I can't think of rn.

With the caveat that his champs may actually be a tad OP, which is great and bad IMO.

Very minor tweaks to his champs would make them perfectly balanced.

But Broccoli is still the GOAT.
