Both are amazing. But Doom is easier to use. Plus, tigra benefits more with high signature ability. Eventually you wanna Max both the champs.
If I were you, I'd go with Doom first, and then tigra once I learn how to use her

In my opinion, Doom is much easier to play and to learn how to play. Tigra needs to be played in a specific and efficient way. Maybe once you get more experience with Tigra, you can upgrade her, but for now, I highly recommend starting with Doom ^^

My 5* AA still melts fights in act 8, so yea they're useful till act 8

I use my 5* heimadal with 7* on acts or any progress...5* are still have value after ascension also
