Vault Counters?

Just got my 8 keys to enter the 2 current vaults, I was wondering what people are using against Storm and Kindred?

I’m worried about storm more so as her specials are quite op, I’m considering Iceman to bate the special 1’s incase I miss a dex.

Silk seems to play off well against her in practice, any tips on who to use?

If you've got a champion that doesn't crit - someone like Guardian or Sam Wilson - then they're probably the best option. The reason is that every crit that she suffers will increase her combat power rate to ridiculous amounts (+300%). That can make it really hard/annoying to only push her to her SP1.

Personally, I had a lot of luck with my Spidey Supreme since she gains a ton of prowess buffs that feed his abilities.

As for Kindred, he's exactly all kinds of BS. Perfectly measured to be as annoying as possible. I've defeated him with Kate Bishop, Hulk and Photon, but Photon was the only one I got a relatively easy solo with. The other ones had to retry the fights probably 10 times each. I think RichTheMan said it best with, "You have to choose which thing annoys you the most" and then try to counter that. Is reverse controls the thing trips you up the most? Bring someone to counter that. Is it the degen? Then you may have to find someone who can find easy heavy openings despite Kindred being stun immune for long stretches of the fight. You have to go into the fight and find out, basically.

One saving grace is that he doesn't seem to activate his SP3 if you push him to it. Instead, he just uses his SP2 (and keeps one bar of power). I don't know if this is intended or not but it allows you to be very aggressive with him without having to worry about instadeath.

Storm X, no one mentioned but I used Miles who can miss unblockable specials and no need to fret about making a wrong move to dex her specials

Kindred, use robots if you are not good at reverse controls and learn how his mechanics works mainly nightmare mode and last 5% phase. Take caution it’s not a fight for the faint hearted.
