The maze rewards

I still have 5 maze keys left so should I fully explore the maze side quest? Or should I save them for next week like is there any maze exploration rewards. Also what should I do with the extra keys if I already explored the kindred quest

ZERO rewards for MAZE exploration. you want to 100% ONE threat level of Vaults, all 4 weeks, for the awakening gem.
they doubled the maze keys available this week, to mitigate some "communication errors" that left quite a few locked out.
hold on to them as a "just in case"? then hit the next tier down for you on the last week. personally I'm 100'ing lv5, and grabbing dust from each week of lv4 (unless I bone a key usage).

I was thinking of going down a level (threat level 4) and picking up extra 💎 instead of fully exploring threat level five and picking up the awakening gem at the end of the month.

That's the smart thing to do. Use those 4 extra keys to do TL4, then do the T2 Dust path every week in the TL4 Vault. Still 100% TL5 while also grabbing extra Dust

Look at it this way, more mysterium to try and get those 3 new 1*s from the 1* crystal in the trader outpost. I've gotten 2 of the 3. Missing the 1* redpool.

No the 100% exploration for the gem is for the Vaults, not the Mazes…

Personally, I will even go down two difficulties and some T1 dust for the ascension of a 5* champ, in case there’s a future 5* challenge… (sitting on 50 T1 Dust right now, so 4x15 from Threat Level 3 will be enough for another ascension)
