8.4.6 Maw

The Ebony Maw on the Power shield 2.0 path appears to be applying degen to any champ at the start of the fight. The fight starts with a passive fate seal, but it will even apply the degen to buff immune champs and to any other champs that don’t start with buffs. My guess is Maw is interacting with the fate seal in a way to believe a buff is being nullified even if there aren’t any. Does not seem like this is how Maw is meant to function, unless there’s been clarification made elsewhere.

Take a champ who is immune to fate seal that's what I did

I think it’s an interaction with the fate seal calling out regeneration. For some reason the game treats salve/willpower as a buff and thus you get the degen when it “nullifies” it
