R2: Gladiator or Serpent?

Pulled a 7* Gladiator a few weeks ago, and was pretty happy since I’ve read that his buff turned him into a top tier cosmic.

Opened a Titan Crystal today and pulled Serpent. Apparently he’s not too shabby himself.

Wanted to R2 a cosmic champ, and really unsure who to go with.

Edit: Looking to use the champ in BG, AW and questing.

    Gladiator is a cosmic powerhouse now, in terms of attack he's waaay better than Serpent. However, Serpent is easily a top 5 defender nowadays so imo it is a better choice. I'm not surprised some are voting Gladiator though just based on how powerful the 7* can be.

    Gladiator playstyle is unique.

    Some enjoy it, for others it is depressing (me).

    Here's the thing..

    Serpent dupe makes him a different champ when it comes to defense because he gets his immortality, but he's still a killer.

    He won't be as quick as gladiator when on offense, but still a great attacker.

    Gladiator post buff is a killer attacker, but not so much a defender.

    It really comes down to who you like more, honestly.

    Gladiators a phenomenal attacker now, Serpents there for the scumbag pick as a defender, especially when you get the dupe, and the fact he's magic thief for another whole season. What a time to be alive.

    Serpents actually a decent attacker too though, but I'd still say wait for the dupe.
