Parry on Defense

Does anyone here legitimately enjoy the game more when the defenders can parry? It annoys me to no end in Battlegrounds whenever it happens, and I'd much rather have it permanently disabled for defense, across all game modes. Of course I understand the mastery makes a difference for autoblocks that trigger parry (darkhawk, IMIW) but perhaps these can be worked into champion's kits.
