What if… synergies were nodes?

Idea here is that a synergy would be a node that’s “dynamically” added to a champ at the start of a quest.

This way, we might be able to utilize synergy champs in areas like BGs, and make AW defense even more… “creative” 😈

So the defender would have a node that is the same as one of their synergies? from memory I remember fighting a Warlock that had a node the same as his synergy with cable. But the potential combinations of nodes and synergies would be unfair for players imo

True, but might reduce tactics like #Magic-Thief

Bishop does have those odd synergies that give him a bar of power… that would certainly be a problem.

Maybe the synergies could be linked nodes (shudder), that could be a way to combat crazy synergies

Figure the impact would be twofold:
* Allow champs like Apoc and Cable to shine in areas like BG
* Reduce the reading — although counterintuitive, experienced players would know most of the relevant synergies; so we wouldn’t be trying to figure out how they work and how they can be countered. Also, if we use the linked node approach, that’s less reading for everyone
