EoP Warlock seems unbeatable

in Bugs and Known Issues
So I'm attempting to play around with EoP for the first time. Left path, after beating Hercules and Havoc, I come across warlock.

He has 3 nodes, one states he only takes damage from critical hits, one states he only takes damage from specials attacked and the other states that intercepting him grants guaranteed crits for 7 seconds okay?

So, intercept and gain the buff, launch a special and this should inflict damage right? Or am I missing something because the last few attempts I've had at this I'm unable to inflict even a single point of damage against him.

    You can't crit warlock while he has an armor up. You need to remove it first

    News to me.Thank you for the response! Gives me something else to play around and hope I can get some damage in now.

    Best to look at some old YouTubes. He's a pain.
