Latest Defenders

The latest defenders are ruining what fun is left in AW. They're widening the gap between haves and have-nots, spenders and free-to-play. Unsurprisingly, the rate of great defenders are out pacing counters, compounded by annoying nodes.

Well played Kabam.

AW is done for. It’s great for the highest tiers, but in silver 1, we have Cavaliers and lower facing 7r3 Onslaught and Bullseye bosses with 5* attackers. The only way forward is to have parameter locks in AW to contain the level of the playing field.

Defenders I find annoying im certain AW nodes are: Onslaught, Bullseye, The Serpent, Maestro, Abs-man (his regen can be @$%#), Korg (still annoying), Red Skull (post buff), Mr Sinister (post buff).. can't think of others that can get kills.

DLL casually mentioned back when serpent was released that if they could they would distribute the "new" defenders and not launch all one after another.
Basically after onslaught and bullseye, if they could they would launch serpent after a gap. But they couldn't.

And tbh DLL is the like the only live communication link between us and kabam. He gets bombarded with a lot of questions. Just tuning in gets some useful insider details.

Imo the worst thing about the newest defenders are the ones who mess with the class wheel (example: serpent being immune to mystics)

What you mean he's immune to mystics?¿
Because he has a couple immunities?

I regularly use mystics to whoop him.

3 of the best counters to him are mystic don’t know what this guy talking about but if he said onslaught that would’ve been a better one not as many techs work for him since most would just stack nerushocks on themselves with no way to remove it

Maestro also would’ve been a better one to say since there’s a few mystics he shuts down cause once glancing up they can’t do anything I think cosmic shouldn’t get immunities to mystic abilities without some kinda ramp like gladiator who needs his charges before he can

He has fate seal immunity which doesn't make sense. Also neutralize effects do power him up

That’s not really the point. I’ve got a 9 year old Valiant roster that can handle the new defenders as well. The problem is that I can play AW alongside people with much more limited rosters and ruin their day. Most competitions have ways of keeping the field even.

    What does this even mean?

You play in the same tier as the ally you're facing. If they got there with sub par rosters in comparison to your own, that makes them pretty good at the game.

What does that have to do with serpent?

There's countless counters to him, so I'm unsure what you're on about.
