Welcome to Arcade Games Raids!

With this update to Raids, we’re looking to even out difficulty across bosses and add a specific new threat to each of them. Overall, paths should feel more consistent instead of one being much harder than the rest. We’re also aiming to show some love to Champs who rely on Damage Over Time (DOT) effects via new boosts!

Updated Rewards:

  • A Valiant Loot Drop has been added to the selector after each Boss with much more valuable average rewards.

Updated Ranked Rewards - If the rewards are not posted they remain unchanged.

Map Changes:

Missions will no longer be paired with Bosses, they will now be paired instead with fights on a path. This is done with the intent of having each path boss have each Mission on them at least once. The change to the actual map will be as follows:


Boss 1 of each path will now have Bundle of Basics as the mission, and Suppression as the Penance.
Boss 2 of each path will now have Thanos Sayeth as the mission and Power Gain as the Penance.
Boss 3 of each path will now have Pure Punishment as the mission and Inexorable as the Penance."

New Missions

M.O.D.O.K’s Mindgames

Modok will call out a random game action of Whiff 3 Attacks, Knockdown the Defender while not Stunned, or Hit into Block 5 times. After the called-out action is completed, gain Raid Fervor. At 50 Raid Fervor, complete the Mission and gain a Role Charge.


RAIDS - Mission - Bundle of Basics
At the Start of the fight, a random prompt of strike the Defender with 4 Medium Attacks, or 5 Light Attacks will be chosen. Each time this is done successfully, gain Raid Fervor, and reroll for a prompt. At 50 Raid Fervor, complete the Mission and gain a Role Charge.

New Mechanics:

Raid Penance 

Defenders now Punish the Attacker or get more powerful if a prompt/mission is not completed fast enough.These will pair along paths in the same format that Missions now do.

RAIDS - Penance - Power Gain

At the start of the fight a 30 second Penance Timer with 10 Penance Charges begins. This timer is paused during Special Attacks and restarts as soon as it expires. When the timer expires, the Defender gains 10% of a Bar of Power. Each Penance Charge increases the Power Gain by an additional 10% of a Bar of Power. Penance Charges are removed each time a prompt from a RAIDS - Mission is completed.

RAIDS - Penance - Unblockable

At the start of the fight a 30 second Penance Timer with 10 Penance Charges begins. This timer is paused during Special Attacks and restarts as soon as it expires. When the timer expires, the Defender gains a 5 second Unblockable Passive. Each Penance Charge increases the duration by 1 second. Penance Charges are removed each time a prompt from a RAIDS - Mission is completed.

RAIDS - Penance - Inexorable

At the start of the fight a 30 second Penance Timer with 10 Penance Charges begins. This timer is paused during Special Attacks and restarts as soon as it expires. When the timer expires, the Defender gains a 5% Inexorable Passive for 10 seconds. Each Penance Charge increases the potency by an additional flat 5%. Penance Charges are removed each time a prompt from a RAIDS - Mission is completed.

RAIDS - Penance - Suppression

At the start of the fight a 30 second Penance Timer with 10 Penance Charges begins. This timer is paused during Special Attacks and restarts as soon as it expires. When the timer expires, inflict a 10% Suppression Passive for 10 seconds. Each Penance Charge increases the Suppression potency by 10%. Penance Charges are removed each time a prompt from a RAIDS - Mission is completed.

Raid Boon

Attackers can now gain Bonus RPG effects by gaining Role Force.

RAIDS - Boon - Undermine

When the Attacker gains Role Force, they gain a 10-second Undermine Passive.

New Role Boosts:

Each of these is added in addition to the current role boosts bringing us up to 4 total for each Role.

RAIDS - Boost - Assault - Siphon Slider

Increase any Raid Fervor gained from Missions by 6 for each Debuff Siphon active on the Defender. Max: 30 Raid Fervor.

Dodging a hit from the Defender inflicts a 60% Debuff Siphon Debuff for 45 seconds. Max stacks: 5. This Debuff Siphon also increases Passive Damage Effects on the Opponent. At max stacks, refresh these Debuff Siphons instead. If the Defender triggers an Immunity to a Damaging effect, gain a +20% Fury Passive for 45 seconds. Max stacks: 5. The effects of this boost cannot have their Ability Accuracy Reduced.

RAIDS - Boost - Vanguard - Clean Moves

Increase any Raid Fervor gained from Missions by 6 for each Fury effect active on the Attacker. Max: 30 Raid Fervor.

Dodging a hit grants the Attacker an indefinite Cleanse Passive. Max: 5. Blocking a hit inflicts the Attacker with a non-stacking 1% Weakness Debuff for 10 seconds. Each time the Attacker Purifies any Debuff, gain a Fury Passive increasing Attack Rating by 40% for 45 seconds. Max stacks: 5. At max stacks, refresh these Fury Passives instead. The effects of this boost cannot have their Ability Accuracy Reduced.

RAIDS - Boost - Tactician - Vicious Placebo

Increase any Raid Fervor gained from Missions by 6 for each Vicious effect active on the Attacker. Max: 30 Raid Fervor.

Dodging a hit places a Placebo Buff on the Defender for 45 seconds. Max: 5. Blocking a hit Nullifies all Placebo Buffs active on them. Each time the Attacker Nullifies any Buff, gain a 50% Vicious Buff for 45 seconds. Max stacks: 5. At max stacks, refresh these Vicious Buffs instead. Each Vicious Buff also increases Critical Rating by +20%. The effects of this boost cannot have their Ability Accuracy Reduced.

We’ve expanded each pool up to 20 champs, and shifted 5 champs out of each of the old pools.
