Necropolis prep advice

Just finished act 8 exploration so now have my eyes set on completing necropolis for valiant, some key issues stopping me from having tried so before are:
-No high level shuri or aegon (have him 5*maxed)
-Never done long content before save for the ROL CCs if that even counts anymore.
Any advice on how much I should prep for an initial comp with only 5* aegon and an ascended Kate.

    R5 that kate and max sig her. Bring chavez, a strong cosmic (probably that herc) for guardian, a reverse control immune, and some extra, maybe a strong mystic for aarkus.
    Kate takes every fight besides aarkus and guardian with ease, although you do need max despair for wiccan.
    I would recommend at least a r4 chavez for aarkus, but if you don't have her most mystics can chip him down or heck maybe kate can in a few revs 🤷‍♂️
