Raid champ available for AW attack

I know in theory you should be able to use raid champ in war attack after the raid begins. Just wanted to know if someone actually tried it so the theory is confirmed..

    I’ve only done it once when it first started and back then it worked like aq. Once a champ is in raids, it’s locked for the whole week.

    Ok thks, i know they updated since then. I will try it and post the result here 🤷‍♂️
