7* R3 Shuri or 6* R5 asc AEgon for first Necro run?

I’m debating wether to invest in AEgon for a first necro run or just use my 7* R3 Shuri.

I’m not running suïcides and found the damage over time of Shuri slightly underwhelming.

What would you advice?

Shuri won't be your main attacker in Necro. If you have Kate and are going at using her than for sure rank up Shuri. If you need a main attacker, it will have to be Aegon over Shuri.

A rank 2 7* shuri is more than enough for what she is good at and Trust me, Aegon will come in handy more than shuri will overall.

U would need more than just shuri as a damage dealer as too many champs on lanes counter her so u would need zemo aegon or kate

As someone that explored Necropolis with Aegon, go with him and mash everything.

Got Kate? Shuri is usually paired with her. I guess you could maybe take path 2 with just shuri tho. Aegon is gonna be easier but expensive, shuri is gonna be much cheaper but also more effort.

Kate (If you're good with her will save you units) but if not is take aegon r5 ascended. He just plows through it, especially once fully ramped. Shuri at r2 will be fine. Please make sure you've got juggs, Wiccan, someone immune to reverse controls at the end

Yes that’s what I used for my first path. Learn Kate well though if you haven’t already and plan to use her. Try and solo Titania using her + Chavez synergy. That was my que for knowing I had practiced enough to use her for a full run.

Aegon is definitely the fastest option afaik (R5 Ascended with Recoils).. so depends what's important to you, for me it's time (and he may even be cheaper for the easy path depending on how the runs go - not everyone can solo things with Shuri or Kate)

Keep in mind that aegon makes final boss fight relatively easy except reversed control phase

Aegon with 50 Revives would get necro done without much effort. i used 70+ in first run.

I explored Necro without Aegon. From my experience, clearly you don’t need Aegon to either complete or explore Necro. But from what I’ve heard, he’s not really budget friendly in terms of revives and potions but he’s the easiest and straightforward.
Between him and Shuri, Aegon will be more versatile. Shuri is for specialised fights. If you have Kate, invest into her and Shuri for a more budget friendly run.

Aegon is clearly doing most of the job, don't hesitate. Kate is too tricky and needs much more focus. Shuri also did a lot of work for the exploration so you should definitely take her in the team aswell
