If the titan pool is going to be so meh, we need more opportunities to open them

Look I get that we can’t just create a crystal with 100% broken op new champions which define the meta. Most of the newer champions are pretty good but champs like Blade, Thing? Really? These guys get to be 7*s more than Valkyrie, Galan, Cassie Lang, Apoc? Those are the calibre of champions that should be going into these titans if they are to be so rare.

It still takes most players multiple months to get these crystals, even with spending they are still some of the hardest to obtain items in the game, so why can they be so bad? I mean it must suck to spend a total equivalent of nearly £500 just to get a 7* blade right?

End of the day if you want to make the titan a crystal which you can miss on, you gotta be giving them out more than once every few months

To be honest I could not open one current single Titan due to lack of titan shards.

I am fine that those crystals are ultra rare but hey it’s little bit demotivating

The problem is that they keep introducing bad 7 stars/ones that need sig 200 to be good. Thing and Nova both need sig 200 to be useful and putting them in the titan pool makes pulling them feel extra bad. If I pull Blade from a titan I’m gonna stare at that screen for 5 minutes…

Anyways a good solution is to give titan shards in bg stores, and giving more titan shards when you dupe a 7*, like 2k shards for each dupe

Agree OP. Too rare with not enough value unless you hit the jackpot. The way Kabam dispenses them, you would think by the time you got 20k you would be getting at minimum a desirable champ every time.

I think it would be crazy if they treated it like the Disney vault. The top tier champs don’t go to basic… they go into the vault and won’t go back to Titan crystal for a while. If you want a 7 star Dr Doom, you’ve got a short window to pull him. No luck or didn’t get enough Titans… you’re gonna have to wait a LONG time to see him again.

Someone out there will tell you these champs are not as bad as you think cause well… every champ has its lover. I think thing is good but good as in basic good not titan good. Heart goes out to the people who pull duds and then have 5 people telling them the champ they pulled is underrated. 🙏

Statistically speaking it’d be impossible for literally everyone to get something good except you, but I get what you’re saying. The basic also has some top battlegrounds options without a lot of the duds, which is why I say I focus on those more. Sure if you were chasing specifically onslaught or serpent etc then you’d be disappointed when you don’t get them, but even if the titan were good the odds of getting those 2 specific champs would be no higher. Plus those champs will inevitably move to the basic anyway.

Honestly, I look at my ftp 7* roster and say yeah, I'm good.

They are doing it on purpose, you know. They are phasing out all of the good ones. I can't get excited to r2 90% of them. I would rather use a Hulking or CGR or Doom.

I agree with you on Blade and the champs that require high if not max sig to be relevant.
I just don’t agree when people complain about landing champs like Havok/ Jabari or Luke cage,..all good champs that as a 7 star become that much stronger.
It’s not Kabams problem whether one likes a champ or not,..i landed all three of these from Titans and the only one I’m not fond of is Havok.
That doesn’t mean he’s bad or not relevant as a 7 star champ,..it just means i don’t like him,…so no reason to complain.

I think they know this, and they know it’s going to take something really nice to draw in money for this upcoming July 4th (7* WPX is alright, but a ton already ascended their 6*) given the issues the game’s had, which is why I think that supposed dataleak they had about nexus Titans will be a thing. Sure, that’s got the chance to be 3 duds, but someone might feel a bit better about dropping that $500 when they get 3 champ opportunities from the crystal than 1… and there may be multiple of those nexus you can acquire.

I open a titan a day ago and pull Thing.. although there are top tier champion in it.. rng can still hand you a champion you don't want...

Thing definitely needs awaken and sig200 to be good.

I think timing is also important when considering what champs enter the Titan pool.
A champion such as Thing wouldn’t be bad to acquire when the availability of 7 star sig stones are much more abundant.
Pulling a champion that is good or great that doesn’t need or only needs the awakening itself, is much more valuable than getting one that needs a high investment.
I do like how Kabam has added different ways to acquire certain targeted champs such as the Omega days event,..but i believe Blade should have been introduced as a 7 star in a similar fashion…and not in the Titan crystal.
It’s important to remember ( and i hope Kabam takes note),..that many us are going through this all over again (the never ending grind that saw us max out our 5 star champs and max out and ascend our 6 stars).
I think it’s both healthy for the game and for keeping the players interests piqued that we keep the Titan pool strong, and hopefully with champions that represent this and are relevant to the players needs.

I have been saying this for MONTHS at this point.
Champs that need high sig to be usable should NOT be in the titan. The worst part is all the champs in there that need high sig are actually so painfully average even at max sig it's hilarious.

I don't have a problem with champs that are actually objectively versatile and just need a helping of the increased stats. But BLADE?? SERIOUSLY?? Why even put him there , champs like that should be dropped into a rotating incursions or loyalty crystal pool So that there's actually a chance that we can sig them up and use them.
WASNT THAT THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE INCURSIONS CRYSTALS??

Idk if you've noticed but the tri monthly 'spend' events are where they introduce quality 7* versions of previous champs. I truly think the titan crystal is designed to just be for new champs and to introduced meh or high sig need champs. The new champs justify the crystal. The meh champs are the risk. I don't expect it to change. Financially it makes sense to me. End of the day don't get excited about titans. Just consider them a 'bonus' crystal. I have little to no.expectations from them. And I've been pretty thrilled since jabari rotated out

My opinion is def similar. They should be SOOooo much easier to get or at least just make them the same price. .....I have opened over 30+ 7 star champs and I have opened 2 titans and am not close to my third.......there shouldnt be THAT BIG of a discrepancy unless titans were either (a) a nexus or (b) filled with top top top end champs....Herc,scorp,KP,AA,doom,kitty etc . They should not be 15-20x harder to get than a normal 7 star......maybe 2-3x harder but for me to have 30+/2 is tough....OR BARE MINIMUM THERE SHOULD BE ZERO L'S.....my poor kid saved like 5 months for his first one and was crushed when he got a champ from like 2015..... if something is that hard to obtain it should be completely busted and not contain an L

I think we all understand the risk vs reward scenario,..but there needs to be limits to that imo.
If they will not introduce certain champs to the 7 star pool because they are too OP or gamebreaking,..the same thinking should be considered for the opposite end of the spectrum.
The champs need to be somewhat relevant to the stature of the newly released champions we are seeing on a monthly basis,..and ones that are realistic to the constraints by how we are able to invest in them.
Blade,..Nova or Thing are not relevant or realistic to where we are in the 7 star scheme of things for various reasons.
All 3 of these champs for a majority of the player base would be seen as a very disappointing champion to get,..even from the basic crystal.

I would encourage him to wait for the one after the next, that will have Arcade. Hopefully we don't see champs like Nova, Symbiote Supreme in that one.

I agree with OP. I opened Luke, Colossus and CB. CB and Colossus require dupe or full synergy team to be very good, and i don't need to mention about Luke. A crystal being very rare, only to reward is with something trash, is simply garbage. Not saying them to give one crystal every month. But then at least make it more frequent and/or make the pool much better
