Battlegrounds Problems

I have been playing battlegrounds everyday since the most recent season started and I have had no problems until today after the game updated.
I usually have to wait around 20 seconds to find a match but today I have had to wait up to 4 minutes.
Even when I do get into a match my opponent or I often can't pick the champions we want to use and the game automatically chooses for us.
My Internet is perfectly fine and I have had these problems every match I've been in for the last hour.

(mine has been a little longer, but not minutes)
However, what is the bit about “After the Game Updated” ?
Was there a HotFix (for Android ? Nothing on Apple) ?
Or has OP here not played at all during June yet ?
