Battlegrounds “an unknown error has occurred”

I was playing Battlegrounds, just finished my Rd1 fight. As the fight stops I get “An unknown error has occurred” message. Game did not crash - it just put me back to main screen. I go back to Battlegrounds and before I can even get there it pops up “match results” and claims I forfeited so I lost the match. What in the world?? Is this a game issue or possibly something the other user did?

    I figured and know that sounds far fetched but I’ve never seen this error before. If my game had crashed it’s more understandable. My connection is fine so I figured I’d make my “once every 3 years” forum post 🤕😵‍💫
