Onslaught and BG

Finally duped Onslaught and took him to r3, but he's either banned or not popping up to be drafted. This has now happened in 5 matchups that he wasn't banned and not popping up at all.

Is this happening to anybody else?

Yeah but at least let me try!

Just say you wanna see other people suffer too
Though Tbh it's vexing that they keep banning my rank 5 onslaught
    It is what it is

I'll ban a onslaught whenever I see one.

I used to fear him because I never understood how to fight him. Then after the Sos I'm able to dec his specials consistently and won't fear him in wars.

But in bgs he is just a waste of time. His sp1 is too long, like it takes 10 seconds and you can't even punish it. His sp2 applies delerium, not a big fan of it.

The worst part is his AI. He’ll just walk up and parry you or light intercept like it’s nothing. I don’t ban him anymore but he’s still annoying af

    Happens all the time.
I've had my serpent not banmed a few times and I've only actually gotten to draft him probably twice.
    It is what it is.

I ranked him mostly for defence. I'm not too good at fighting him so if he isn't banned I start sweating since it usually means my opponent is quite confident of his chances.

Sometimes it's better to not take one to R3 to lessen the odds of them getting banned. I took Emma over Bishop to R3. Guess who gets banned more

You can punish his sp1 actually. You have to time it though.MSD made a video on it.

Since I’ve pulled a 7* CMM, onslaught has been light work. I can wipe a r3 awakened 7* onslaught with a r2 7* CMM. But like you said, that’s only if he isn’t banned, whether that’s me banning theirs or the opponent banning mine.

Don't be too dependent on Onslaught. He's been out for a while now and quite a few champs can counter him, and players have learned how to easily beat him.

I don't ban him. I got some solid counters....one being CMM.

A strong Onslaught will almost always be banned unless:
    a) they have a strong one themselves;
    b) they have no problem fighting him; or
    c) both

As said above as well, a particularly strong R3 champion, particularly a defender, is frequently going to be a top choice for banning. You're actually better off having multiple R2 defenders so that they have to pick and choose between them.

Unless you're one of the accounts I keep having to fight in Diamond that have 10+ 7r3s. The last one apparently looked at a pita list and duped and r3'd everyone in it.

Lol yes, fair, that advice goes out the window once you're having multiple R3s

I've had a 200 sig 6R5A Onslaugt for the last 2 seasons, and can count on one hand the times I get to use him. My Onslaught and R3 Bullseye gets banned by 98% of the playerbase.

Frustrating, but in this meta it means good attackers like CGR, Hulkling, Odin, Angela etc gets away with it.

I have an r5 six star so I don’t ban him plus my r3 silk or shuri will indeed nuke him
