Are battleground changes good?

Battleground seems way more a chore than usual even after giving out 2 medals in a win. However, there seems to be waaay more tiers to climb to get into GC. There now 5 levels in Vibranium and Diamond to climb out of VT. How are the changes helping? Am I missing something?

Yea but it seems we need to play way more matches to climb out even with the additional medals .. it used to be ike 20 medals to climb from diamond to GC... Now it's like 50 medals because of the additional tiers added

I personally like the changes. However, I don't like GC, especially with the magneton crystals. It's a minor thing to complain about (and I'll probably get no sympathy, which is fine), but I normally grind hard to get to GC, then take the rest of the season off. I don't do the two day milestones. But then, for this season, I do. there are just fewer people in GC and finding match takes longer, which means winning match (since I lose many) takes even longer.

The changes are much less punishing than before.

Even though you need more medals, you gain twice as many for a win in the higher tiers than before. Also, more tiers means more rewards and more safety nets. For the vast majority, this is a win

It's kinda the same thing. Before we were punished for losing and it was hard to climb, now we don't get so punished and are rewarded for winning, but the climb is much longer than before which makes it hard to climb

At a win rate of over 80%, it is longer, however, if your win rate is below 80%, then it is shorter than before. This season is extra long compared to previous seasons just because of the seeding bug.

The changes are good. The error with seeding and a deathless piece being in the mix make the changes not as beneficial as they otherwise would be.

Seems good. I'm currently at Vib 3, win rate has been good. 3 wins is a good thing over the 5 that was there previously. My anger level has considerably reduced. I am also able to tolerate Loki emotes now. So things are looking good.

It was rolled out improperly which is why the grind seems so much worse. Frankly my main account loved it. Even with the higher challenges at platinum plus I was thoroughly enjoying the mode again. However the ONLY reason I can complete bidaily tasks on my baby account is because of people who are farming. If they weren't farming I'd win almost none of my matches. Now. That being said. When the next season starts they SHOULD have fixed the preranking levels so top tier accounts aren't in gold and below. Which will make the changes very good.
