MCOC game itself is based on RNG so BG being RNG based seems par for the course.

Champ selection is rng too and It definitely makes or breaks the fights.

It may seem like it is but it's a terrible idea, the second you add RNG to something as important as the meta itself you eliminate almost completely the skill factor. I don't know about you but when I play BGs I'm not trying to gamble every second of every match, I'm already gambling when I draft defenders and attackers, that's enough.

I will be okay with it if they remove crush & unblockable.
I got 3 crush in a row so I have to dance with the ai & hope they don't side step me and lose a lot of health
