How many revives for Necropolis?

KerneasKerneas Member Posts: 3,825 ★★★★★
I have no clue what to expect. I wanna give Necro a shot, but I can't estimate how many revives I should hoard.

The team I am considering is:

6* r5 Ægon (asc)
6* Nick Fury
5* Heimdall
6* r4 Wiccan
"Vacant spot" (could be anyone: have 7* r2 Shuri or 6* r5 asc Kate Bishop, or other champ).

The thing is, I suck as a player. I have done+explored Act 8, but no Act 7 exploration, just 7.1.

My question is obvious: how much should I save up, as a f2p? Now I have full stash of L1 and L2 revives (20+20), quite a few L2 team ones, and I have boosts. I intend to save up 5-10k units (~125-250 revives), but I have no clue if it can be done with this amount. I have seen people doing it with 80-90 revives, but I dunno about the skill involved.

Any advice or experience is highly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

80-90 is I think a good amount for an average skilled player. I’d advise getting around that many revives, and if you need any extra then you can dip into your unit stash.

For your team, I’d bring shuri for the last spot then swap out Nick for doom or abs man. They both obliterate air walker who would be your only real problem fight with Aegon.

This is what I'd suggest too. With Aegon, you really don't need skill. Just revives.

For sure. Aegon is quite simple and flexible to use. Even if you make a bunch of mistakes you’ll still get some decent damage in.

Luckily, my Doom is 6* r5 asc, so he ahould seeve me well on Air Walker.

Just one question tho: how does a f2p stash 90 revives without units?

I am not really a good player. But I managed to do it all with a r4 ascended aegon and a r5 ascended doom (for air walker) in ~120 revives so I think you should be able to do it with a r5 in like 80 or so.

as for getting the revives. I had to spread to between units and my stash. There is a apothecary quest in the proving ground where you can farm 1 revive a day and the solo objective (currently super event, but I believe will go back to the 22hour event) has 1 revive as well. That should be two a day, which means in 4 week you can save up to 28 - 30 revives. also while revive farming has been nerfed, I'm sure you can find revives across old quest even if they are more rare now.

Other then that just do arenas and build you units up.

Which was perfect for me! Typically used 110 revives. I think I could've used fewer if I just YOLOd him more often.

Well you can get a total of 68 from just filling your stash with lvl 1 & lvl 2 then having 14 of each in overflow. Obviously those are from the apothecary and daily event respectively. The only way to get the remaining 22 without units would be farming back issues 7 on classic quest 3.2.

However since you have, or at least will have 5k+ units, you don’t even need that. For 1000 units you can buy the tb eq completion bundle which gives I think another 10 single revives plus 10 team revives as well as hella potions, refills and boosts. That in addition to the 68 should be plenty for a single run.

You can delay claiming the 40% revives from the 22hour events to get and extra 7. You'll also probably pick up a few from running the Apoc every day from that 5% chance. Then there are the 4 hour crystals that, while not great, give a small chance.you may need to pop a few of those thought your entire necro run for potions when you're not using Aegon.

Claiming the delay is very smart, I didn't think about it! Thanks

The only time you have to play well with aegon is to build a combo. Once ramped up it doesn't really matter anymore
