Necro or Crucible for Valiant

It seems like the Crucible will offer another opportunity to get a R3 7* champ to become Valiant. So far, it seems like it would be easier than Necro, but might require more champs to rank up. I almost have the Necro team everyone suggests so it's just about even on my end. Just have to finish leveling up Aegon and Kate (been playing for years and just got Aegon a few months ago). Then grind a few more units/revives.

Crucible will probably be easier if you have a very diverse roster as a paragon, imo around 35 6* r4 or higher champs. But if not, necro is the answer, especially since you have the right team comp.

Of course you could always do both and further improve your roster.

Doesn't the r3 come from exploring either normal or legendary before next update or is that r2. If it is normal you won't need op champs just basic good champs at a decent rank

The r3 is tied to legendary exploration the r1-2 is from exploring either as an objective

Yea what bendy said lol. 1-2 for exploring either difficultly before sept 4th, 2-3 gem from exploring legendary anytime

I do plan to do both at some point. Real life gets in the way of doing Necro unfortunately. The crucible seems like an easier option for a busy life. But I haven't looked into it enough. I'm betting I'm still going to have to wait and level up a few more champs. 5* hulkling helped a lot in story content, and I just now got the 6* sitting at R1.

U say easier but they recommend 6r5 7r2+ for legendary level we dont know nodes if they are gonna be harder im sure they will and we dont know health/attack values so at this time i wouldnt say it be easier than necro until we actually see it and try it tomorrow i believe

I do think Crucible will be harder BUT to frumpy's point it will be easier for a 'busy life' since you'll be able to just pause, leave the content alone, and still do other quests with a full roster available at the same time. That's an immeasurably valuable thing.

Necro should be easier imo. The crucible is designed for 6* r5 or 7* r2+ (according to crash)
While you can use r4 and add boost, i highly doubt a paragon player would have the diverse roster of r4 6* to do the crucible without dropping a lot of revives.

As long as you can farm revives, necro with aegon if you have him would probably be easier and more straight forward.

That's exactly what I mean. I still have to do a run of the SOS gauntlet but for the last 2 weeks can't get an hour of uninterrupted time. That's my fault though, I thought it had a choice node and was thinking about the AW showcase. I may have to wait a bit to do it and build my roster up some more, but I won't have to devote the time and team to it all at once. I don't have time for that and really appreciate the set up by Kabam on this. I think they did it for people like me who can't even do the Abyss or LOL because I don't have that kind of time.

Since the showcase they said about kang shows no mercy and u would have to restart if u make a mistake so is that hinting u gotta do all fights in 1 or not

I’d think the restriction on having to use a different champ for each fight would reset after each path, so you could use the same champ once per path. We’ll have to wait and see to know for sure, but I don’t think you’d need 66 champs.
