So Kabam chat banned me for something my son said in global chat

My son plays this game on my phone and apparently he’s been pretty toxic in the global chat, I figured this out when one of my buddies asked me to do incursions with him and I couldn’t respond… Can a support member reach out here? I have no way to communicate with my alliance or friends due to this, seems unjust that I received a perma chat ban.

    I am confused, Your title says "So Kabam Chat Banned me" but in the post you say your son plays the game on your phone and is pretty toxic in global?

    If you're sharing an account with your son then that there is you breaking the TOS already. If your son has his own account and plays on your phone while you also play on the same phone and have your own I don't see why Kabam would ban you from chat if its your son doing it from his account.

    You should realistically set up LINE or DISCORD to communicate with alliance members in case things like this happen.

    It may be just a temp ban (you could maybe Submit a Request to Support to see if it has a duration to it). But then you'd have to explain why you are sharing the same account with your son.

    If your son wants to play his own, you could set him up with his own account.

    would have to start from scratch for him, but maybe he is young and just wants to do fighting, etc, so wouldn’t matter that it would be starting fresh for him). And turn off his Global Chat (in game settings).

    (You can have the same device being used, you just need to logout/login constantly with whomever is playing it, but it would be separate game accounts) as in, for yours, when you are done for the session, logout. Then when he goes on, he will have to login into his own, without accidentally still playing on yours.

    No I do not, You do not seem to understand the forums is NOT the place for that. You need to go to the support team. Making up false people to get your answer is quite frankly sad and will turn people against you.

    Learn from this mistake for the next time you mess up and get a deserved ban.

    It's because people on the forums, when they're cheating, often blame brothers, cousins, and now you introduced blaming a son. When it is entirely their/your own fault for bringing chat banned (though normally people are complaining about being perma banned).

    I wonder if you will attempt the same ploy in your support ticket, thinking that Kabam support might buy it.

    Because you know, they might. If they had no idea it was a deception. And I can't imagine how they might find out about that.

    and this is prime example of why nobody ever believes anything people say online.
    when you come back and cry "support don't believe me" you know why.

    if only the game team escalated and/or extended bans for people making up stories to try and get out of it.
