Can reunion crystals drop mastery cores?

I know legends celebration crystals last year had them. I've opened a decent amount, and still no mastery cores. Bad rng or have they been removed? I hope they're still there, they're the only drop (aside from the 7* selector lol) that I actually need.

    Yes, I've gotten the mastery core selector from one of them.

    They’re literally on the picture when you go to the crystals tab to open them.
