Instagram voting failure

So even though Cyclops won who I would have voted for, I never actually got the chance to vote because I could never see the option to vote on Instagram using my iPhone 11.
I saw a lot of other people say the same thing, but never saw Kabam confirm the issue or provide a workaround.
Was this ever confirmed as a widespread issue? Was there another way that I COULD have voted barring using a friend’s Samsung?
How many votes do we think didn’t get cast as a result of this issue? Considering how close it was between Cyclops and Strange, this could have made a big difference one way or another

I assume it just didn't matter and the ones who couldn't see it were lumped in either summoners who didn't feel like voting or don't have Instagram.

Why it was offloaded to instagram boggles the mind. I intentionally don’t have an instagram account and don’t want one. I do intentionally play the game and come to MCOC forums. Yet the voting for a rework goes elsewhere. Pump those social media clicks I guess…

I'm actually glad it happened on Instagram otherwise it would have taken 5 effin days every single round

Although a lot of the people didn't vote and many non mcoc players did, but that's just the factors we have to account for when using a social media platform for voting.
