What criteria does a champ need to meet for "re-balancing"
Josh2507
Is the decision based purely on game data & internal discussions?
How does the community response (if at all) affect the decision to re-balance a new champ?

Community response means absolutely nothing. You can all complain in the forums. Nothing is going to change aside from people in the middle/not caring hating more and more of you overall.

He/she needs to be at least as useful as Venom the Duck.

Community response do definitely affect the balance program. Because of the million "nerf serpent" posts in the forums and othee platforms, devs learnt that letting him stay as it is and introducing a potential counter in a future date is a great way to milk money.

It's whether or not the champion is meeting the expectations kabam have for the champ.

Balancing program exists so that if Kabam makes an oopsie and release OP attacker they can just nerf him saying, "haha, hero is performing way more than we expected, we will nerf him for healthy game." 😄
Serpant is the most retrd defender Kabam released, maybe ever.

Happiness of Kabam is all that matters. Now Happiness could be from both prosperity and suffering of players.
