In case anyone who didn't read the email, any remaining older crystals will be automatically opened after the cleansing event.

    They probably want to get rid of Cavalier event crystals & cavalier champion crystals ( yeah we used to have those to try and get 6*s ) from 2020 or something like that

    Exactly that.

    Quite a few people have the habit of collecting old, unique crystals because.... Well, I'm sure they have reasons 🤷‍♂️.

    Not for the first time, Kabam is planning to auto-open them, to clean up storage space. If it helps the game run smoothly, then more power to them, I'd say.

    That's OLDER / DEAD / OBSOLETE crystals that will be auto-opened.
    Like they have cleaned up occasionally in the past.
    Champ specific Featured crystals from years back, etc.

    So not like the 10’s of thousands of SOLO CRYSTALS, T4Cat shard and full crystals, etc..
