Battleground match - Died instantly for no reason?

in Bugs and Known Issues
I was doing a match in Battleground Victory Track the other day as Vox vs Cosmic Ghost Rider on defence. Match was going ok, had built up to many buffs on myself, preparing to do an SP2 and finish fight and then CGR did a heavy I dodged then poof. My VOX died, even though he was at almost full HP.
As per the death notes Vox died to "other" damage

    lol CGR probably triggered damnation and nullified all your buffs. You took the truck load of damage that Vox inflicts on himself and got evaporated
