She doesnt need a buff. Yes she is a bit slow for BGs but is still a top tier mystic anywhere else.
I agree with captain_rogers though, a pre fight may make her more viable in BGs because when she is in hellfire mode, the damage is definitely there and you can always switch back to blood mode to regen health for high points without losing too much time
Remember her buff immunity ignores all anti nullify effects in the game. It just outright removes as buffs and prevents other buffs from applying. Only please /debuff immunity can prevent buff immunity effect.
For instance ,she can remove serpents death immunity, Armor up buffs of OS, Rskull and Ironman, and even the buffs of overseer and thing. She has decent burst on sp2 the enhanced crit rate is enough to increase her damage.
Remember if they buff her and increase her damage, it also increases the sp2 life steal damage which is the most potent life steal effect rn. So it's unlikely they'll touch her damage without nerfing sp2 abilities.
Claire doesn't NEED a buff. It would just be nice to have an increase in damage and longer buff immunity. But that's really the case for most champs, tweaks here and there.
She is all round up, and has many utilities, but what kills it for me is that she's not reliable at BG per say. You won't choose her to fight Serpent or Maestro even tho she can shut down their buffs, because her damage is a bit low to win fights fast, so I end up leaving her out of my deck
It would be great if her secondary damage on her SP2 (with incinerate) scaled with attack rating like every other iteration of secondary damage in the game. When you're in EQ and you've got 350% bonus damage and her secondary is still only 3k per hit (6r4) it's pretty pathetic. Otherwise, she just needs to be a 7*.
Only thing she really needs is a prefight to select her mode. You can still change it with MLLLL combo if needed. Numbers will go up naturally when she's added as a 7*
I'm a huge BWCV fan and usually run her wherever I can. She's such a smooth and versatile champ. Her kit is amazing as is. All she really needs is a bump to attack damage.
I run recoils full-time but have removed them recently for 9.1 and SoS and she always feels like a different champ without recoils. I would really like to see her as a 7*, but she still needs a damage boost in the 20-30% range and maybe a useful sig ability.
