Fighting Valiants as a TBer..

What’s the best way to get ahead in BG’s when I’m a TBer and all I fight are paragons n valiants your help will be appreciated.. I’m new to this game .. thanks mate

    My thoughts:

    1.Use it as a learning experience. You’re gonna hit a point where your roster is your limiting factor. Learn who they have ranked up for defense and for attack and who they use to counter your better defenders. Youll hit a point where no amount of skill will overcome the roster strength disparity. Time matters and a 7*R3 will take a lot longer to take down or win a lot faster than a 6*r3.

    2. Wait it out for more people to move up.

    3.Get lucky and get some forfeits in a row or easy wins.

    I disagree with the majority of the player base on this one. I don’t see any reason why Uncollected-TB players can’t just face other Uncollected-TB players. Paragons and valiants make up the majority of battlegrounds, why can’t they just face each other more often than not when matchmaking? Sure, the rewards are all the same, but the lower level players need rewards like 6 star shards more than the higher level players yet they are prevented from getting a lot of the rewards to a certain extent because of the matchmaking.

    Maybe there is an argument to be made for implementing a different ranking system that isn’t based purely off of wins? I think losses could be more of a factor in a player’s rank. Perhaps something similar to Counter-Strike’s competitive ranking system.

    So lower level accounts should have the privilege of accessing rewards more easily than higher level accounts because the rewards are more impactful for them? That really doesn't make sense.

    The only scenario where UC-TB accounts shouldn't have to face Paragon+ is if they have their own separate game mode with rewards tailored to fit. I'm sure they wouldn't complain about the reduced rewards at all. This will never be resolvable so long as everyone exists on the same field.
    You certainly bring up a valid point but I don’t think it’s as black and white as “this will never be resolvable so as long as everyone exists on the same field.” I think that is the problem in of itself.

    I think your second paragraph is the answer. There needs to be a different reward system but I don’t think it needs to be as complicated as one might think. There wouldn’t be any “reduced” rewards if they make sense for the reduced difficulty, it would just mean Uncollected-TB players wouldn’t be able to access things such as titan shards or T6 fragments unless they have significant progression.

    There has to be a better system out there than the current one for the sake of the lower level players, especially with how important battlegrounds is nowadays.

    Maybe a progression based solo objective with separate rank rewards and a lock on GC for Paragon+ only? Put a few extra trophy tokens in their rank rewards to make up for no GC, but not a 1:1 replacement.

    Separate game modes is probably still the best solution to the problem. But we're only going to replace this issue with another issue, which will be those players complaining about the new rewards.
