AW tactics and banned attackers

Alliance war is starting to be really unfun this offseason. With the current tactic and the already limited pool of tactic champs it’s very difficult to bring good counters.
I run path 2 in war which is usually a mystic heavy path and I need to bring science champs. Now that the opponent can ban up to 5 champs + silk being black listed my options are very limited.
I used to bring sm2099 every war but he’s been banned every single war this offseason. I also ranked luke, sandman, and Casey, which are all ironically banned this war.
I don’t understand why they even made void a tactic champ, he should be a great option but he takes too long to build up buffs and ends up being useless.
What are y’all’s thoughts?

Complain and doing the easiest path in aw? Try path 9

There are many other champs you can use. Including many techs like OS, shuri and red skull. They are great against mystics in general

Onslaught is a regular attacker for me even against tactic defenders.

I’ve brought r3 onslaught but he’s non tactic and he’s been pretty useless against tactic champs. He has no heal block therefore how does he counter the ridiculous regen?
I’ll have to rank up my 6* OS. I already have shuri at r4, but will she counter the regen and miss?

The way the tactic works, you need to deal 5 non-stun debuffs to get your heal block and shut it down. For Shuri, that's a parry and full combo.

Is the regen really that bad in the higher tiers? I’m gold, and Onslaught works great for me. Despair mastery should shut off most of the regen, and Onslaught’s crazy degen damage should be more than enough to blow through health pools irrespective of regen. Mind you I only have a 6* as well, a 7* r3 having not enough damage sounds whack.
