Clearing notifications: is it just me?

So, I opened the game and there are 11 notifications in the objectives panels that I have to go through and manually click to clear. After a while I have to reboot the game (regular occurrence), when it opens, all the notifications are back.

It’s a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things but annoying all the same.
