Why 2 7* now????

NONYABIZZNONYABIZZ Member Posts: 666 ★★★

I'm going to try to keep it short and simple and try not to rage but I am very PISSED!
Why do we need 2 whole 7* to cross now??? Before it was 1 path 1 7* and one path free of our choosing but now they're making a mandatory requirement of 2 7* out of a 3 team slot.
WHY!!!?

This not only reduces our options but makes us have to take on these fights more than we necessarily would, valiants have 6 objectives. I personally have been unlucky with 7* champions who worked for most of these fights and completed those objectives with 6* champions when they were initially released. Now I have to take on a path about 3 times to do the objective and also bring in seat filler MANDATORY 7* champions when I could've done it once/twice. I thought these quests were supposed to be about skill and not about roster size

Why is no one talking about this?

It’s called the SOS gauntlet for a reason, when was the last time you saw any other gauntlet that only had one path, gauntlets are usually always multiple fights with multiple slots available, I’m pretty sure it’s been like this every winter of woe, sos, and spring os, I’m not sure though, I just was able to even do SOS recently.
I think you misunderstood his point. He is annoyed that the gate requirement requires you to have 2x 7* in your team to enter.

Also op, pretty sure sos was always about roster size. There were objectives that narrowed down the viable champs to a handful. I remember during the mole man sos i only really had 2 good options.

That’s not what he’s saying. The left path has a gate requiring you to bring 2 7* champs on your team, whereas before it was just one. I believe the right path also used to have no gates but now forces you to bring at least one 7*.
Thx, I thought he was referring to how there’s 2 champs on each path, I should probably re read things before commenting, thanks.

IIRC the Winter of Woe Gauntlet had the exact same gate requirements.

Yes, Winter of Woe had a 2x 7* gate on the left, 1x 7* gate on the right. Spring of Sorrow had both gates at 1x 7*.

Maybe because most players have more than two 7*s?

Previous one had the same gate as well.

It exists so you won't cheese the quest with champs like herc, doom and kitty

You can put x2 random 7*s in (for objectives classes or tags) and use herc.
He can solo whole left side and boss in 2-3 revives. Then use your 7*s for mole man
