Is this cheating?

I get into my first round against my bg oponnent, all goes fine, i defeat my oponnent, and in the next screen i get an error(unfortunately didnt screen shot it). I restart the game, i go to bg mode, only to find that i lost the match by forfeit.

Was the error by any chance connection issues?
I've had this several times, where between fights I've been kicked out and then it's forfeited for me.

It bewilders me how people think that disconnects and connection issues are caused by BG opponents. I know there are professional hackers out there who can do wonders with computers and personal devices, but I think some players have been watching too many movies or too much TV. I don't think anyone is that good.

You titled your post "Is this cheating?". Which to me means you thought someone was cheating. I can only assume that you weren't referring to yourself as the cheater. So based on the actual post you either thought your opponent somehow cheated by sending a signal or something through their phone, through the Kabam servers, and into your phone causing you to disconnect or that Kabam had cheated. Since I've read multiple posts of people claiming their opponent has cheated by forcing a disconnection, I assumed it was your opponent you were referencing.

By all means, feel free to clarify exactly what you meant with the use of the word cheating.

I have caused other people to lose a BG by force closing their app so it is possible*

*Mainly by snatching the device out of their hand because they were being a jerk.

Idk. I've had this happen to me multiple times to think that it's cheating. I have had this happen a few times and I wish I recorded because it's very strange that after I beat opponents a$$ my signal gets lost. OP I believe there is some cheating going on.

Its not cheating. Its either problems with ur connection or problems with the game. For me its problems with the game,except when I'm in my room which is far from my WiFi, then it is problems with my connection
