BGs - Should we go back to 2 metas in GC?

I think AI was only part of the problem on display in the realm event. Sure we all know that it’s not behaving right now, and at times was god awful (most times) but this was also exacerbated by a meta that required AI cooperation… and that meta lasted all month.
Going back to 2 metas decreases the potential impact of the AI in the future and the chance of burnout it may cause too. The node resets also increase interest in the mode as it’s like a mini season within the season, giving players a fresh chance to engage and it helps wipe away any frustration.
Curious what others are thinking, but my feedback to the team is we should go back to 2 as the minimum number of metas in GC.

I probably should have added, I’m typically in the GC within 5 days of season start, and finish in the Mysterium brackets. I also usually finish top 2000 or higher in participation. So I’m not the highest grinder or pushing C4, but I play a lot and am competitive. I think that makes it a fairly informed opinion. Would love to how this insightful response is being informed.
So during the two weeks meta I always missed the first one. Also rank up materials are rare to get, one month meta means it's easy to rank up meta specific champs. And You don't have to frequently change decks
No offense though, but based on this response it doesn’t seem like you played the seasons where there were multiple metas in GC in a meaningful way to know the difference though. But I can appreciate those with less developed rosters probably see this shift to a single meta positively. Fair enough.
Long metas actually forces you to adjust your deck, short 2 week meta is whatever and can be ignored.
Forcing players into discomfort situations actually pushes them to do better, make them use gold rankup materials and open crystals, good business.
If metas are changing every other week then players can just decide to lay low for first meta and go ham on second.
I also sincerely disagree with the sentiment of having to rank up for 2 metas. Even the top players rarely did that, they would rank champs for just the second meta as that’s the one where placement will be decided. At least with 2 metas there’s some extra variety to keep things interesting.
(Also great point about rank ups)
