October Para Gauntlet

Maybe most everyone is done already, but I just completed it — and did so both itemless and without using choice nodes. And no my roster isn’t super stacked. I actually kinda surprised myself I did it. So thought I’d explain what I used.

My team was Warlock, Absman, and Chee. Warlock is unduped R4 6*
Absman Sig82 R4 6*
Chee unduped R1 7*

Fights went like this:
Warlock
Warlock
Absman
Chee
Absman
Chee

Just watch the Absman fights and get in the correct prefight form (most importantly against Scream: be in Uru).

I found (obviously) none of the fights very hard. Popped a 30% booster. When it was all said and done, Warlock was almost dead. Absman was about 25%. And Chee 55%.

Again, I’m not super stacked. Just an average 2.5mil account. This month was just easy imo.

    Congrats!

Thank you! This is my 1st time doing it without choice nodes. And now with the dust I can do another ascension. 🙌

I have never done para gauntlet. I use the time I would explore eq with on forums lmao

    Go play! 😤

Awesome, I remember the feeling of finishing both my first Paragon Gauntlet and my first solo run, such good times

    Congratulations

I have about 10 expiring energy refills so I might. Game is low-key taking over my life though. Had an important meeting today. VERY important. Thought I wasn't gonna be able to go. Turns out I could, but I was running a bit late because I thought I wasn't gonna be able to go. Even when I realised I needed to quickly have a shower, put on some formal clothes and dash for the train, I was still reloading forums page and going on global chat. Absolute brain rot, I missed a train and was late. Granted I was probably gonna miss the train anyway but still. Good thing there are some other circumstances adding towards why I was late otherwise that wouldn't have been very good

100 percent wasn't worth my time or energy

100 percent wasn't worth my time or energy

that's an odd opinion...I mean unless your a top 1% player maybe, but where else are you gonna get rewards like that for about 30 minutes worth of play?

It's subjective if it's "worth" your time/energy. The Gauntlet itself isn't too bad unless you have to sink resources into it. Really it's exploring TB EQ that's a bigger headache - if you're going to do that anyway then you might as well do the gauntlet. I recently didn't bother exploring because I had too much else going on, but I generally do the others - lining upwith Hero Use and Event Quest objectives

That is what I was referring to. Exploring eq took hours

    Damn those rewards are miserable
First you have to 100% long SQ then do this all for
    3k 7* shards

Rest is easily accessible in BG glory shops for peanuts

It's not just 30 minutes as you have to first unlock it by doing long ass 100% SQ every single month

Obviously my OP was based upon the assumption of doing TB EQ exploration anyway. Nowhere did I say “run out and fully explore a quest you normally don’t run just to do the Para Gauntlet.” Don’t be weird.
So yes, if you normally explore TB EQ, but was then hesitant about doing the Para Gauntlet, or not sure you could do so without using a choice node, I was showing it was possible for a mid account like mine.

Gotcha. I don't normally explore eq or even do it

Again, I was offering this guide to people who I assumed already would explore TB EQ to help them be able to get the dust easily by not using a choice node in addition to completing it anyway.

@DukeZman good on you! it’s awesome finally stepping up and killing a challenge that’s been frustrating you, and it just makes the next, and the one after, easier. you know how to look at it and evaluate your roster.

    what’s your progression level?
